My Current Struggle

Reading is a dangerous thing. I am currently reading through a book called “The Irresistible Revolution” by Shane Claiborne. It has been challenging my views on war, poverty, homelessness, and living out the message of Jesus. It is one of those books that gives you a wake-up call. I say that I am struggling with it because I think I have given in to a more complacent, safer Jesus than I have realized. Jesus is a dangerous person to follow, and it has been a long time since I have truly been in a dangerous place with my faith sharing the message of hope.

I would encourage you to pick up a copy of this book. Perhaps you will begin to struggle like I have, and perhaps together we can learn how to be more like Jesus.
