Building a House

In less than a week, I will be leaving with a group to build a house for a family in Juarez, Mexico. What will really be the eye opener for all of us in the group is that we are building a house that is 11'x 22'! Yes, that is like the size of your living room, but this house will have two rooms inside of your living room and is for a family up to four.

Perhaps the greatest lesson that we may learn is to appreciate what we have and not be content with bigger is better. In the land of "can I super size that for you?", we may need to look around us and learn what it means to scale back.

Pray for us this next week that the work of our hands will bless a family and draw them near to God.
